Body transformation 12 weeks

Here we pay attention to nutrition, training, lifestyle and everything we need to have a fit body and a stronger mind. The program begins with the anamnesis class, where we find out the client's body data, habits and lifestyle, in order to create the action plan that will guide us in the first month. The nutrition part starts with a restart, where we teach the body how to use the macronutrients received from food as efficiently as possible, if needed. The training is individual and focuses on the wishes and needs of the client. It's a complete package that helps you become the best version of you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Most Persistent Fitness Myths and Biases Checked: What's True?

Incorrect. From the first minute, the body turns to the two important sources of energy: fats and carbohydrates. What is true, however, is that the percentage of energy production changes over time. At the start of your workout, your body prefers to use its glycogen stores. However, fat burning increases over time. So there is at least a grain of truth to this fitness myth!

Wrong. The latest studies show just the opposite: running is good for your joints! Jogging exercises the cartilage, for example in the knee, which then grows. Even marathon runs don't take a toll on your knees, hips, etc. - provided you are not carrying excess weight and have no injuries or misaligned feet. And very important: make sure you wear sensible running shoes with the right cushioning and change them regularly.

100 sit-ups every night and the six-pack is visible? It would be nice! Of course, crunches strengthen your abdominal muscles - but they won't get you one step closer to a six-pack if those muscles are covered by a layer of fat. To reveal those coveted muscles, one must reduce the total body fat percentage. And the best way to do this is with a combination of strength/endurance training and the right diet.

Bullshit, Ladies and Gentlemen! Please forget this fitness myth very, very quickly! The truth is that women have a much harder time building muscle than men – and their muscle base is also limited. The reason for this is the hormone testosterone: it plays a crucial role in muscle development, and women have much less of it than men. So if you train as a woman with a lot of weight, you definitely don't have to worry about looking too masculine or too big. On the contrary: muscles increase your basal metabolic rate and you lose weight more easily. Plus you get firmer skin and a firm/toned body, which equates to: increased muscle mass and reduced fat. So girls, get to the gall!

Another fitness myth is that you are supposedly working against the muscle building process when you regularly incorporate endurance (cardio) into your workouts. Many Cross-fitters, for example, prove that this is not true - their training consists of cardio and strength units - and yet they still have a lot of muscle mass that does not go unnoticed. After many myths my advice is: prioritize your strength training combined with a tailored diet and also use a cardio machine for about 30 minutes once or twice a week or simply go out to a longer walk every day. You can introduce some light endurance sessions for non-training days - this way you train your muscles and your cardiovascular system. You only have to win!

And this cardio fitness myth is not true. Sure, running is a great way to stay fit and burn calories. But with all endurance sessions, you'll burn (almost) only calories as long as you're actively moving. With strength training it is completely different: here you not only burn a lot of calories during training, but also after - because

What applies to your abs also applies to the rest of the muscle groups: just by training a specific muscle, you can't reduce existing fat - and you certainly won't turn it into muscle! Only your genetics decide where you lose weight first. However, regular strength training helps with fat loss and a nice body look.
